Ox Tail "Beef tail" (Crockpot
meal )
4 pounds ox tail
4 chopped celery stacks
2 chopped carrots
2 chopped onions
4 smashed cloves of garlic
2 teaspoons of kosher salt
4 teaspoons of dried parsley
1 tablespoon of beef Better then Bouillon (can be replaced with two cups beef stock)
1 cup red wine
14 ½ oz can of Diced Tomatos
Top off Crockpot with water until 3/4 full
Taste and adjust spices. The both should taste
good but watery
Place everything in the Crockpot on high for
three hours. Strain and discard everything except the ox tail and the
broth. Remove the meat from the ox tails discard the bones and fat.
Return the broth, meat and add noodles and potatoes
4 potatoes quartered
1 cup spiral noodles
Cook on low until potatoes are tender 3 hours
Spoon off excess fat from pot and serve
